Can I use my existing card reader?+

Yes. Take payment on your existing terminal, then choose Confirm card in InventoryOS. This records your confirmation; InventoryOS does not trigger or independently verify the payment. Card-provider fees are separate.

Do extra tills or staff cost more?+

No. Each £19.99/month shop subscription includes unlimited tills and staff. Each additional subscribed shop adds £19.99/month and has its own stock and renewal date.

Is Retail included in the Business plan?+

No. Retail shops are separate from reseller and manufacturing workspaces, stock and billing. You can access both products with the same login.

What works without an internet connection?+

Prepared back-office cash sales can be saved on the original device and sync when it reconnects. Restricted staff tills need an internet connection. Keep browser data and the original device until pending sales are synced.

How much do customer email receipts cost?+

Printed receipts are included. Email receipts are a separate paid add-on from £2.99/month, with an introductory first month and later usage-based monthly bands. Your Stores & billing page shows the applicable prices and usage before you activate it.

Can I use it on my phone?+

Yes. InventoryOS works in modern mobile and desktop browsers. The Retail dashboard and Till can also be installed as PWAs. Scanner, printer and cash-drawer compatibility depends on your hardware.

Do I need a printer to get started?+

No. The inventory tools work without a printer. Optional direct printing uses QZ Tray, your printer’s normal driver and the InventoryOS printing setup. Mobile printing uses your device’s supported print or share options.

Can I try Business first?+

Yes. Create an account, then email hello@inventoryos.co.uk to request one free week of Business. We activate it manually. The app shows when it ends and which plan you return to; a trial does not automatically start a paid subscription.

Is InventoryOS connected to a marketplace?+

InventoryOS is independent software. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Vinted, eBay, Meta or Amazon. You remain in control of your marketplace accounts and listings.
